Testimonials from previous participants:

“Sandy MacIver is a wonderful teacher who taught us how to assess our strengths, become more self-aware, and how to use our leadership skills – which we already possessed – to our advantage. I highly recommend Leadership Through People Skills and wish I could take it again!”

“Before taking Leadership Through People Skills with Sandy McIver, I had read many books and taken some short courses on leadership. I thought I knew a lot about leadership but knowing is one thing, doing is another. The practical, applied nature of this [offering] challenged me in ways that past learning did not. Sandy designs activities to be difficult and to target areas where the class members were 'not quite there yet' in our skillset. While [Leadership Through People Skills] was demanding, it was also very rewarding in terms of personal growth. Sandy is extremely supportive, and he creates an environment where the class as a whole reflects that support. The supportive atmosphere helped me feel ok being vulnerable and taking risks. I use the skills and insights learned from this [offering] on a regular basis.”

“I use what I learned in Leadership Through People Skills every single day, in most of my interactions with others – at work, at home, in public. I’ve gained invaluable insight into myself and others and how to make connections.”

"Sandy is amazing! This is [an offering] that could dig the real you from deep inside and help you find a better you which you never realized. He taught us leadership has many different types. You have your own unique leadership style. The class is always an intense intellectual and emotional encounter. There is no bystander, everyone can’t help but be actively involved and immersed in it. This is one of the life lessons that will always lead me on!"
